Each year, students in Grades 4 – 8 are invited to participate in a science fair project to further their knowledge of scientific concepts and the methodology of scientific method.
During Catholic School’s Week, the participating students present their hypothesis and provide an overview of the scientific method used to determine if the hypothesis was correct or incorrect via the use of a display board and a research binder containing details on their process and data.
Guest judges with a background in science review the projects. Top projects are then selected to participate in the CCIU’s Chester County Science Research Competition.
